The opportunity: Access LG-TEC is transforming how local authorities deliver social care, support independent living, and intervene earlier — powered by an innovative AI platform that’s changing what’s possible for councils across the UK. We’re looking for a Director of Marketing to own the full marketing function — from product positioning and GTM strategy through to demand generation, campaigns, and events. You’ll build a high-performing, commercially focused marketing engine that accelerates pipeline, sharpens our product storytelling, and elevates our presence with senior decision-makers across UK local government and healthcare. This is a hands-on, strategic role for someone who loves bringing teams together, simplifying complexity, and delivering campaigns that move the needle. AI isn’t just a tool you’ll use — it’s central to the product you’ll market and the way your team will work.

What you’ll lead:

  • Lead the entire marketing function for LG-TEC: product marketing, proposition development, GTM strategy, campaigns, content, digital, events, and communications.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of 6, closing skills gaps and creating shared focus on revenue outcomes.
  • Set the direction for how we position, package, and promote our solutions — making sure every part of the marketing engine works together to deliver pipeline and revenue.

Product marketing and GTM:

  • Own GTM for new products, modules, and our AI platform — shaping value propositions that resonate with multi‑stakeholder buyers in local government.
  • Define compelling positioning for complex solutions spanning social care, commissioning, children’s services, and technology enabled care.
  • Build sales enablement assets, extract insights from market research, and equip sales teams to win.

Pipeline and revenue:

  • Own pipeline KPIs aligned to orders targets across all sales motions: new business, expansion, and renewal.
  • Partner with sales to understand competitive losses and develop strategies to improve win rates.
  • Deliver the volume, quality, and timing of opportunities needed to meet revenue targets through effective demand generation.

AI and innovation:

  • Lead the marketing narrative for our AI platform — making it exciting, credible, and compelling for local authority decision‑makers.
  • Embed AI into how your team works: increasing speed, quality, and scale while challenging outdated practices.
  • Position Access LG‑TEC as the innovative partner driving AI‑powered transformation across UK local government.

Market leadership and customer growth:

  • Position Access LG‑TEC as the go‑to provider for councils, local authorities, and care organisations.
  • Raise market visibility through PR, thought leadership, conference speaking, and sector engagement.
  • Develop strategies to grow revenue within the existing customer base through product adoption, cross‑sell, and service expansion.
  • Continuously refine the Ideal Customer Profile to ensure all marketing targets the right organisations.

Digital and data:

  • Oversee integrated campaigns using SEO, SEM, social media, email, content marketing, and webinars — tailored to the longer procurement cycles and multi‑stakeholder decisions typical of local government.
  • Put analytics frameworks in place to measure campaign effectiveness, customer engagement, and revenue attribution.
  • Use insights to improve ROI continuously.

What success looks like:

  • 3 months: A cohesive, motivated team with clear goals and accountability. Strong alignment with sales on pipeline targets and win‑rate priorities. First product marketing outputs delivered: refreshed positioning, initial enablement assets. AI platform narrative defined and in market. Full visibility on pipeline performance and marketing contribution.
  • 6 months: Tangible pipeline growth with clear marketing‑influenced revenue. Senior buyer engagement through thought leadership and executive programmes. Successful GTM launches demonstrating the full function model in action. Measurable improvement in win rates and competitive positioning. Customer growth programmes driving increased adoption and cross‑sell.
  • Ongoing: Consistent pipeline contribution and SQL growth. Strong event ROI and brand impact. Stakeholder advocacy across MLT, SWCo leadership, and sales. Access LG‑TEC recognised as the leading AI‑powered local government solutions provider.

About you:

  • Strong B2B enterprise marketing background with proven pipeline results, ideally in SaaS or technology.
  • Experience owning the full marketing function: product marketing, GTM, and demand generation.
  • Skilled at marketing complex, multi‑stakeholder solutions and leading GTM launches.
  • Experience running and developing teams of 5+
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to tie marketing activity directly to revenue outcomes.
  • Confidence using AI tools and a passion for marketing AI‑driven products.
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and bring fresh thinking to drive growth.

Nice to have:

  • Public sector, local government, or health and social care experience.
  • Experience with CRM, marketing automation, and account‑based marketing tools.
  • Understanding of how councils procure technology and how directors of adult/children’s services make decisions.

The qualities that matter:

  • Strategic clarity — ability to cut through complexity.
  • Collaborative leadership — builds trust and handles challenges constructively.
  • Drive — focus on outcomes, ownership, and follow‑through.
  • Curiosity — hunger to learn, evolve, and spot what others might miss.

What we offer:

  • A flexible, hybrid working environment.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • 25 days holiday, increasing with tenure.
  • Matched pension scheme.
  • Charity day to support causes that matter to you.
  • Career development through tailored success plans.
  • The chance to shape how AI transforms public services across the UK.
