You’ll be at the heart of our breaking news video desk, turning major developing stories into compelling, must‑watch edits at pace. What You’ll Do

  • Edit and publish short‑form video for Daily Mail’s global audience
  • Turn raw footage – from original reporting, wires, UGC and archive – into sharp, compelling narratives
  • Develop structured, in‑depth edits around major news events
  • Add graphics, captions, subtitles and branding to elevate storytelling
  • Reformat 16x9 into 9x16 and optimise for web and mobile audiences
  • Pitch and package video ideas around breaking news, politics, royals, showbiz and features
  • Work closely with reporters, producers and editors across the newsroom
  • Ensure all content meets legal, copyright and compliance standards
