As part of the recently launched Trade Surveillance business, you will be instrumental in driving early stage growth, and feeding into product development. Your ability to seek out and drive opportunities, and work collaboratively with multiple internal teams, will be crucial to success.
Reporting into the Senior Product Manager, the role will be focused on growing client numbers, delivering revenue, and helping to iterate the product based on customer feedback. Key accountabilities include:
- Building and delivering on the client pipeline
- Taking ownership of and driving new opportunities through to completed sales
- Working with technical and quantitative development teams to deliver on client feedback and improve the product
- Assisting with ad-hoc pieces of work that could range from drafting RFPs to undertaking in-depth client analysis
- Representing LSEG at events and in client meetings
To be successful in this role, you will need to drive opportunities and deliver against targets, first and foremost. Being pragmatic and adaptable, and able to work proactively across multiple teams and a range of tasks will also be key.
What you’ll be doing:
- Seek and structure new business and product sales, and help to close deals
- Develop the sales strategy within the relevant territory and account base
- Build long term relationships with professionals within Trade Surveillance industry
- Deliver customer demonstrations on our Trade Surveillance tool
- Encourage confidence in customers through domain expertise
- Integrate knowledge of industry trends and personal experience to deliver value to customer(s)
- Build valuable connections within the client organization, using networks to facilitate introductions and unlock previously inaccessible opportunities
- Proactively think through customer workflows
- Conduct high-efficiency, high-output prospecting; collaborate efficiently with relevant colleagues ensuring constant coverage of expansion opportunities and participation in customer life-cycle framework
- Excel in advancing opportunities through sales stages; exceeding close rate expectations by anticipating obstacles and late-stage delays, preventing them from interrupting sales
- Handle administrative requests and related tasks to progress against sales goals at pace and with efficiency
- Lead on ad-hoc projects, initiatives, and research when required
What you’ll bring:
Essential skills:- Solid understanding of financial markets and Trade Surveillance
- 3+ years of industry, sales or market experience
- Sales or customer relationship experience
- Ability to work across multiple workstreams to ultimately deliver business growth
- Strong presentation skills (verbal & written)
- Previous role in Trade Surveillance, either working for a vendor, as an analyst or in compliance
- Experience in FX markets
- Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment and closing sales
- Experience driving sales strategies
