Marsh UAE is seeking candidates for the FP&A Specialist position based in the Dubai office. This role combines disciplined insurance operations management and client service.

Role and Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Be part of IMEA regional team in Dubai, UAE with a dual reporting line to Head of FP&A, IMEA and UAE CFO.
- IMEA responsibilities for Marsh Risk and Mercer consulting businesses largely in Middle East with oversight of company activity and financials in India and Africa.
- Act as a first-line advisor to the business leaders in the region and the FP&A on all finance-related issues.
- Manage multiple responsibilities in IMEA across Marsh Risk and Mercer, building meaningful relationships with non-finance stakeholders and become a trusted finance business partner.
- Stakeholders include Country & Regional Leadership, HR, Controllership, Business Operations, and other business functions.
- Directs the financial planning, reporting, and analytics support used by Senior Leadership and regional business leaders and communicate the impact of analyses and forecasts.
- Assesses finance structure, processes and reporting and develops processes to simplify, automate, or streamline, to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Reviews existing cost pools for further consolidation.
- Provides strong financial leadership and determines overall direction and setting of finance priorities, in order to meet the needs of the functions supported.
- Initiates and leads special projects related to business unit performance, M&A, and other strategic opportunities, and provides thorough leadership on an approach to analyses.
- Develops and implements processes to improve overall FP&A reporting and analytics in support of strategic initiatives.
- Enhance current reporting accuracy and timeline, leveraging from internally developed software and automation.
- Develops budgets and forecasts based on established objectives and initiatives including 3-5 year plans.
- Recommends changes to financial strategies.
- Provides support for financial transactions and business decisions.
- Support in ad hoc projects as they arise – examples include utilization, margin analysis, build out additional reporting and so on.
- Lead and develop financial processes and practices.
- Lead, direct and develop financial staff to ensure financial practices are conducted accurately and compliantly with regulations, laws and standards.
- Reviews and tests consolidated annual budget schedules, organizes and updates the budget schedules and instructions.
- Lead online learning initiatives readily available on the intranet and capitalize that with knowledge sharing and wider team development.
What you need to have:
- University degree from a reputable university, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Maths, Statistics
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, modelling, dashboards, an advantage if can use and integrate AI
- 5+ years’ experience in FP&A management in insurance sector, especially in a multinational environment
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Team-player, self-motivated, be a self starter
- Demonstrated ability in managing multiple senior stakeholders within a large organization
- Leadership attitude, team management experience, ability to work effectively in teams and work with numerous stakeholders
