We are looking for a detail-obsessed and digitally-savvy Project Manager who is passionate about bringing innovative social media campaigns to life. As a Social Project Manager at VML, you will be at the heart of our creative process, owning the end‑to‑end delivery of social‑first projects for world‑leading brands. You will be the central point of coordination, working across VML departments to deliver work that is on brief, on time, on budget, and exceeds client expectations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage the end‑to‑end delivery of social media campaigns, from creative concepting through to execution, reporting, and analysis.
- Collaborate closely with social strategists, content creators, community managers and paid media specialists to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines, content calendars and resource plans specifically for fast‑paced, social‑first projects.
- Oversee the production of all social assets, including video, static imagery and copy, ensuring they meet platform specifications and creative best practices.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients on all social project‑related matters, providing regular updates on progress, performance and budget.
- Create, manage and own all project documentation, from initial estimation and Statement of Work (SoW) to RAID logs and weekly status reports.
- Manage project financials, ensuring accurate budget tracking, reporting and resource forecasting for the entire project lifecycle.
- Drive team communication and collaboration, ensuring a seamless workflow between internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure all social content is compliant with brand guidelines, legal requirements (including GDPR) and platform policies.
- Successfully wrap up projects, ensuring all key learnings about creative performance and process are shared with the wider team to inform future work.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Project Management role, ideally within a fast‑paced marketing, creative or social agency.
- Demonstrable experience managing social media campaigns (organic and paid) from conception to completion.
- A deep understanding of the social media landscape, including key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, etc.), emerging trends and content formats.
- Experience working with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Monday.com) and social media management platforms (e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout Social).
- Excellent core project management skills, including scoping, financial tracking, resource management and stakeholder communication.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively.
- A proactive, energetic and collaborative attitude, with a passion for problem‑solving and getting things done.
- Curiosity about new trends, promoting an environment where ideas flow and expertise shared.
- Experience with managing influencer marketing campaigns would be a bonus.
