The Workday Finance Lead will be our internal functional leader through deployment, partnering closely with our implementation partner to deliver a global rollout. Post go‑live (target 2027), the Workday Finance Lead will own the functional roadmap and ongoing optimization of Finance, Expenses, and Procurement in Workday across all Kyriba legal entities, driving automation, controls, and real‑time insight.

What you’ll do

    • Global design: Partner with the implementation team on FDM/Chart of Accounts, fiscal calendars, multi‑entity, and multi‑currency; review and approve intercompany, consolidation, and tax design recommendations with Controllership.
    • Data and legacy migration: Co‑own data readiness and integrity; define acceptance criteria and reconciliation rules, lead mapping reviews, and sign off on conversion outcomes as part of legacy decommissioning.
    • Compliance and localization: Coordinate with Tax and local Finance to ensure proposed designs meet e‑invoicing mandates and statutory requirements.
    • Process consulting: Lead Kyriba‑side workshops with Finance COEs for P2P, O2C, and R2R; synthesize requirements, prioritize trade‑offs, and provide decision records to guide the implementation partner’s scalable design.
    • Testing and quality: Define test strategy and scenarios; oversee SIT/UAT execution and defect triage with the partner; manage cutover readiness criteria and hypercare success measures on behalf of Finance.
  • Product ownership (2027+)
    • Roadmap and value delivery: Own the Workday Financials roadmap aligned to CFO priorities; manage backlog, quarterly releases, and value realization.
    • Solution optimization: Design and maintain complex configurations (cost centers, intercompany billing, allocations, revenue recognition/allocation as applicable); configure, test, validate, and deploy Business Process updates.
    • Release management: Evaluate and adopt Workday feature releases; run impact assessments, regression testing, and stakeholder communications.
    • Innovation and AI: Champion Workday’s innovation roadmap; evaluate AI/ML features for reconciliation, anomaly detection, and forecasting in line with Kyriba Finance objectives.
    • Analytics: Enable reporting and dashboards using Workday Report Writer/Composite, Prism Analytics, and Adaptive Planning to provide real‑time, multi‑dimensional insight.
    • Governance, security, and data: Own finance master data stewardship (values, validation rules, exception reporting); role‑based security, and audit evidence processes with IT Security and Internal Audit.
    • Partnerships and mentorship: Serve as escalation point for Finance Systems and Finance Ops; coach team members and drive continuous learning.
