We are recruiting for a Product Strategy Senior Manager to join our Product team! This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong markets knowledge and ability to assess trends and provide competitor insights. Reporting into our Head of Product Strategy, you'll look to identify market gaps, opportunities, and actionable product initiatives to continue to meet client needs - whether that's existing products or identifying new opportunities. You will act as a bridge between portfolio managers, sales, and clients, analysing competitor landscapes to drive product innovation, positioning, all while ensuring governance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
A bit about the role: As a Product Strategy Senior Manager, you will work across both public and private market initiatives to develop products that support the future growth of the business. You will play a key role in driving innovation and shaping the 1–3 year product strategy for Aviva Investors, globally, collaborating closely with Investment and Distribution teams to analyse industry trends and opportunities across the broader asset management landscape. Your insights will help inform product roadmaps across Aviva Investors regions and sales channels, while ensuring sales and investment teams remain fully updated on competitor activity and market focus. You will contribute to product positioning reviews, support the development of sales plans, and provide expert guidance on regulatory considerations, vehicle selection and key product characteristics to drive strategic growth. Additionally, you'll support ongoing reviews of product roadmaps to ensure they remain relevant, competitive, and aligned to business priorities.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Experience in a product strategy role preferably across public and private markets.
- Experience of product structures and structuring - e.g. UCITS funds and private markets structures and characteristics.
- Regulatory knowledge of global markets such as European, UK and APAC regulatory landscapes, whether from a similar role or other relevant experience.
- IMC, CAIA or similar qualifications welcomed but not required.
