Lead the design and build of LSEG’s next generation AWS AI platform, shaping the technical foundation that will power the organisation’s most strategic AI initiatives.
This role provides technical leadership for the development and evolution of our AWS-based AI platform, ensuring it is secure, scalable, resilient, and enterprise grade. The Lead will own core architectural decisions, set engineering direction, and work closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver a robust platform that accelerates AI adoption across the organisation. Success in this role requires deep AWS expertise, strong engineering governance capability, and the ability to guide teams in delivering high-quality cloud platform solutions.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Design, develop, and build advanced AWS cloud platform services and capabilities.
- Lead architectural decisions across provisioning, automation, CI/CD, networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, governance, and cost management.
- Ensure effective implementation of AWS Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and specialists to improve cloud platform efficiency and reliability.
- Mentor and guide cloud engineering teams and communities of practice.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud and hybrid AWS platform solutions.
- Deep expertise with AWS native services and AWS Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Proven experience building AWS Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones.
- Strong CI/CD engineering background.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, GitLab).
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
