What You’ll Do:
- Ensure uptime, performance, and reliability of servers, storage, networking, virtualization platforms, and core business systems on premise, in addition to Azure and AWS.
- Deploy servers (virtual and physical), patches, updates, and configuration changes in alignment with change management processes.
- Manage and support identity and access management systems such as Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID and Okta.
- Collaborate with teams across networking, identity, end-user computing, SaaS applications, and other technology stacks.
- Maintain documentation including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and system configurations.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor system performance and capacity; proactively identify and remediate issues.

- Strong oral and written communication skills to articulate technologies to technical and non-technical personnel.

- Experience in vendor management.
- Ability to identify and make pro-actively value-added recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an Infrastructure systems engineering role.
- Minimum 8 years administrating Windows Server, Hyper-V and VMWare.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in implementing private/public and/or hybrid cloud solutions (Azure and AWS).
- Minimum 5 years working in an enterprise level environment designing, building server, storage and network solutions in heavily virtualized environment.
- Advanced understanding of PowerShell and ability to work within a heavy Windows Server Core environment.
- Advanced understanding of Windows operating systems and Windows Server roles.
- Working experience in performance monitoring and troubleshooting Windows servers.
- Broad working experience implementing and troubleshooting Active Directory and Group Policies.
Desirable experience:
- Ability to develop, document, and/or provide training to both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Experience with Linux (CentOS/RHEL, Ubuntu, etc).
- Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code.
- Working experience with automation and provisioning tools (Chef, Terraform, Workato).
- Experience with Okta.
- Working knowledge of SSH, Kerberos, Radius, SAML, BIND DNS (nsupdate, dnssec, stubs, delegation) and others.
Preferred Certifications:
- Current Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
- Current Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
