Based in London, you will guide architecture through the transformation lifecycle, build executive confidence, govern design decisions, lead architecture build, and ensure technology choices support long‑term value.
What you’ll do
- You will bridge business goals and technical delivery by designing target architectures, planning transitions, and creating decommissioning strategies.
- You will use change management frameworks such as ADKAR to support adoption and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and advance the architectural intent crafted during pre‑sales.
- Provide architectural leadership across the full transformation lifecycle and guide platform adoption and evolution.
- Convert the success roadmap created during pre‑sales into a comprehensive, managed transition plan featuring clear sequencing, decision points, and risk controls.
- Formulate robust, industry‑specific architectural perspectives and translate them into target‑state architecture, reference models, and phased implementation plans.
- Foster and maintain executive trust in architectural direction, serving as a strategic advisor to senior business and technology collaborators.
- Collaborate with licensing and services sales teams to improve major sales initiatives.
- Coordinate architectural efforts among delivery teams, subject matter experts, and partners to ensure build integrity and alignment during execution.
- Establish and lead architecture governance and assurance forums.
- Partner closely with pre‑sales teams to ensure lessons learned, build patterns, and reference architectures continually improve future pursuits and delivery outcomes.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience providing enterprise architecture leadership across large‑scale transformation programmes, from early visioning and pre‑sales through delivery, adoption, and platform evolution.
- Strong grounding in TOGAF principles and lifecycle‑based architecture governance, applied pragmatically in complex enterprise environments.
- Broad understanding of digital marketing, data, and activation ecosystems.
- Ability to craft compelling narratives that translate architectural choices into business‑relevant results and messages suitable for executives.
- Experience operating as a trusted architectural advisor to senior executives.
- Strong understanding of AI, automation, and emerging agentic models, and their implications for enterprise platforms.
- Experience working closely with delivery teams, partners, and vendors to maintain build integrity.
- Ability to apply structured change and adoption approaches (including ADKAR) to support the human and organisational aspects of architectural evolution.
- A collaborative, outcome‑focused leadership style, with a relentless focus on value and adoption.
- Fluency in English is required; any other European language would be a plus.
