Walker & Dunlop’s EMEA Hotels Investment & Sales practice provides institutional‑grade hotel brokerage, sell‑side advisory, debt and equity placement, and M&A services across the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, and the broader EMEA region. With a focus on single‑asset and portfolio transactions in the £70‑500m range, our team connects institutional investors, private equity, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and owner‑operators with the capital and counterparties that drive exceptional outcomes. The Impact You Will Have

Join a rapidly growing team as Senior Analyst, providing rigorous analytical and transactional support across the EMEA Hotels Investment & Sales and debt platform. You will build financial models, conduct market research, prepare pitch and marketing materials, and support due diligence processes on live hotel mandates. In a lean, high‑performing team, your analytical output will directly influence mandate win rates and transaction quality. This role carries a clear development path to Associate Director.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain hotel financial models including DCF, yield‑based valuation, debt sizing, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Produce first‑draft investment memoranda, pitch books, teaser documents, and market presentations under senior supervision.
  • Conduct hotel market research using CoStar, STR, MSCI Real Capital Analytics, and other relevant data sources.
  • Prepare comparable transaction analyses and operator benchmarking for live mandates and new business pitches.
  • Manage and maintain the EMEA pipeline tracker and CRM database.
  • Support due diligence by coordinating data room preparation, information requests, and document management.
  • Monitor hotel transaction activity across EMEA and contribute to regular market intelligence summaries.
  • Assist the senior team across pitches, client meetings, and transaction workstreams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Company’s core working hours are 7:00AM to 7:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday with in‑office attendance required, and actual hours worked generally totaling 40 each week.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preference for finance, real estate, economics, or hospitality management.
  • 2–4+ years in real estate advisory, investment banking, hotel consultancy, or a closely related analytical role.
  • Hospitality or commercial real estate finance background preferred.
  • CFA progress or MRICS candidacy a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced Excel financial modelling skills; PowerPoint to a client‑ready standard; ARGUS a plus.
  • Familiarity with CoStar, STR, or MSCI Real Capital Analytics preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a track record of delivering polished work under time pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European language a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to learn Salesforce and other company software.
  • Ability to accurately and productively handle multiple tasks during time‑sensitive situations.
  • Commercial curiosity and a genuine interest in the hotel investment market.
  • Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes.
