VML, part of WPP, is a leading creative company that combines brand experience, customer experience, and commerce, creating connected brands to drive growth. VML is celebrated for its innovative and human first, award-winning work for blue chip client partners including AstraZeneca, Colgate‑Palmolive, Dell, Ford, Microsoft, Nestlé, The Coca‑Cola Company, and Wendy’s.

This is the challenge: Shape growth. Build relevance. Drive impact. We’re looking for a senior, consultative commercial leader with deep Salesforce experience to accelerate and scale our Salesforce‑related growth in the UK. This is a high‑impact role focused on shaping demand, strengthening our position in the Salesforce ecosystem and driving complex, high‑value opportunities.

This is not a traditional software sales role. It’s for someone with a consulting mindset who understands large‑scale transformation, can navigate complex client environments and feels comfortable operating between clients, Salesforce teams and global delivery organisations. You’ll play a visible role in expanding our Salesforce footprint—contributing both to near‑term opportunities and longer‑term growth strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the development and growth of Salesforce‑related opportunities in the UK market
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with Salesforce Account Executives, RVPs and Industry Leads
  • Originating and shaping opportunities through thought leadership, points of view and content‑led conversations
  • Engaging senior client stakeholders in strategic discussions around customer experience, data, AI and operating model transformation
  • Contributing to account strategies across a focused set of priority clients
  • Working closely with global and nearshore delivery teams to shape compelling, scalable propositions
  • Acting as a visible and credible Salesforce specialist, both externally in the UK market and internally

What we want from you:

  • 10–15+ years’ experience in consulting, advisory or transformation‑led commercial roles
  • Background equivalent to Senior Manager or early Managing Director level in a leading consulting or systems integration firm (e.g. Accenture, Deloitte, McKinsey Digital)
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce‑enabled transformation (Core CRM, Marketing, Data, AI)
  • Proven ability to sell and shape complex, multi‑cloud transformation programmes
  • Trusted advisor profile with senior client stakeholders and Salesforce teams
  • Commercially minded, results‑oriented and comfortable taking ownership
  • Naturally consultative: you lead with insight, not product
  • Content‑led and narrative‑driven, using points of view and use cases to open doors
  • Relational and collaborative, able to build trust across clients, partners and internal teams

If you meet the requirements and see yourself working in an innovative environment, we want to meet you! We believe the best work happens when we’re together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That’s why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office an average of four days a week. If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.

WPP (VML) is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without discrimination or regard to characteristics. We are committed to fostering a culture of respect in which everyone feels they belong and has the same opportunities to progress in their careers.
