We seek an experienced and hands‑on Finance Functional Analyst to lead, manage, and support the delivery of technical solutions. This role ensures the platform continues to satisfy Finance requirements worldwide. You will engage with partners in Finance to learn about their business objectives and show how technical solutions support them. Your role includes collecting, analysing, and ranking business requirements. You will build, agree on, and coordinate the implementation of technical solutions that match business strategies with the help of business and technical teams.
What you will be doing:
- Helping to build, implement, and support SAP S/4 HANA capabilities that support complex Finance accounting and controlling (FI/CO) processes. These include General Ledger, Cost Centre, Profit Centre, Asset Accounting, and Profitability Analysis.
- Identifying business collaborators and engaging with them to discover, understand, and define business problems and opportunities.
- Understanding existing business processes, mapping out process flows, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Providing mentorship and recommendations to business collaborators, promoting standardisation and adoption of SAP standard methodologies globally whenever possible.
- Owning the prioritising, management, and reporting of progress against identified Finance initiatives.
- Collaborating with internal and external business and technical teams to examine and evaluate the effects of change requests on the SAP platform.
- Eliciting and analyzing business requirements to detail functional design specifications for the build of WRICEF objects, ensuring that they receive the appropriate level of approval.
- Analyzing AS-IS and TO-BE system processes and configuration to assess the impact on FI/CO.
- Validating the approach for delivery of system changes to ensure accurate testing and documentation is completed.
- Contributing to interface build, and coordinating and assisting with integration testing as required.
- Collaborating closely with internal and external technical teams to analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across the SAP platform.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrable technical SAP ERP S/4 HANA experience, with proven hands‑on experience of FI and COPA configuration, with skilled understanding of underlying SAP financial table structures and data elements.
- Working successfully across the full lifecycle of technology-enabled change: from requirements definition through solution composition, build, testing to transition to live operation.
- Sound understanding of the following areas: P2P, O2C, Analytics and Reporting through SAP platforms, MDG/SD/MM/Purchasing and their key integration points with Finance functional areas, SAP Group Reporting on S/4 HANA.
- Working effectively with offshore/near shore service providers.
- Excellent at influencing and negotiation, comfortable dealing with senior collaborators, and willing to challenge them based on sound reasoning.
- Excellent written, verbal, social, and decision‑making skills.
- Self‑motivated, highly organized, working well under pressure, remaining focused and calm in the face of distractions and changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
