The Reward and Benefits Manager is responsible for assisting the Head of Reward with designing, implementing, and managing the organisation’s reward and benefits strategy. This role ensures that reward programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with organisational goals while leveraging HRIS technology to optimise Reward operations and enhance employee experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Reward
- Work with the Head of Reward and Chief People Officer to develop and implement a reward strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives and market trends.
- Assist Head of Reward in preparation of Remuneration Committee papers.
- Participate in salary surveys.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive positioning.
- Complete Gender Pay Gap reporting and legal compliance.
- Participate in reward projects as appropriate.
- Develop and manage salary structures, pay scales, and grading frameworks.
- Oversee job evaluation and analysis processes to ensure consistency and fairness.
- Manage the delivery of annual salary and bonus review processes for multiple operating companies.
- Support the Head of Reward in the management of Long Term Incentives, Short Term Incentives and other recognition programs.
- Benefits
- Act as in-house expert on employee benefit offering.
- Evaluate, manage, and improve employee benefits offerings.
- Work closely with benefits portal provider to optimise employee benefit experience.
- Administer life and group income insurance schemes.
- Act as Secretary to the DMGT Healthcare Trust.
- Ensure benefits programs are engaging and well communicated to employees.
- Ensure benefits programs are compliant with local laws and regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Provide guidance to senior management on reward or benefit related matters.
- Partner with finance to manage reward budgets and forecasting.
- Provide operational reward expertise to operating company HR teams.
- Liaise with HR Shared Services and Payroll to ensure Reward and Benefit administration runs smoothly.
- Workday
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Configure and complete Annual Compensation Review in Workday for multiple operating companies.
- Uploading compensation EIBs and writing reports.
- Improve efficiency and use of Workday functional capabilities.
Person Specification
- Extensive experience in reward, compensation, and benefits.
- Knowledge of short-term incentive and long-term incentive design and administration.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
- Excellent excel competence.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience of Workday would be highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated success in designing and delivering reward programs.
