We seek a highly skilled Program Manager to join our diverse Program Delivery team within the GPTO (Product & Technology) organisation.
This role is Full‑Time and Hybrid, based in our London office for 2‑3 days a week.
Role Summary
At Anaplan, Program Managers are responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross‑functional technology programs that deliver value to our customers.
This includes partnering with our Engineering and Product teams to plan and deliver software and infrastructure releases, managing program status, coordinating across multiple teams, tracking risks and dependencies, and ensuring the successful delivery of program objectives.
- Your Impact
- Lead program kickoff meetings, define roles, and establish ceremonies for initiatives.
- Develop and maintain advanced roadmap plans, including status and dependency tracking.
- Coordinate with teams, Engineering Leads, Product Owners, architects and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate scoping exercises and commitment/objective tracking.
- Oversee planning activities, such as quarterly planning and release planning.
- Manage program documentation, meeting notes, decisions, action items, and change control.
- Providing insight by helping teams define and track metrics that align with program and business outcomes.
- Undertake tracking of progress being made towards project milestones and provide early identification of headwinds.
- Ensure clear project visibility for multiple audiences, including senior management and key stakeholders, through concise reporting that highlights progress against milestones.
- Conduct regular leadership and executive status meetings.
- Ensure completion of closing activities, including checklists and retrospectives.
- Drive innovation and adoption of Agile practices.
- Your Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex technology programs involving multiple teams.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
- Proven experience managing programs in a software product development environment, with a deep understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from concept to customer release.
- Proficiency in status and dependency tracking in Jira & Confluence.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, drive alignment, and resolve conflicts.
- Experience with risk management, release planning, and program documentation.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and drive accountability across teams.
- Project management certifications (e. g., PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe) are advantageous.
- Experience working with infrastructure teams and infrastructure programs would be advantageous, but is not essential.
