We’re seeking a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team. This is your chance to contribute significantly to our projects and mentor Production Assistants.

Position Summary

As a Production Coordinator, you’ll be the central hub for communication and coordination within a specific group (discipline) of VFX artists on exciting projects. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our productions, working closely with the Line Producer, Production Manager, Producer and other Coordinators. Your ability to balance multiple needs, projects and tasks is essential.

What you’ll do

  • Utilize the ILM Internal Tracking Tool to track and manage assigned work, collaborating with the Line Producer to ensure that task information is consistently kept organised and up to date.
  • Monitor progress to ensure work stays on schedule and meets internal and external (client) deadlines, regularly checking in with artists.
  • Track client reviews, edit changes and deliveries to guarantee your discipline achieves its targets.
  • Prepare weekly target report summaries for your disciplines and show supervision.
  • Act as the primary communication liaison for your discipline by providing updates and assisting with priorities.
  • Supervise, delegate to and assist with the training of Production Assistant(s) when required by the show.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience as a Production Assistant in visual effects preferably having worked on a variety of project types, eg film, episodic or a special event.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of the ILM VFX Pipeline.
  • Facilitates clear and open communication to encourage collaborative relationships.
  • Proficiency with ILM Internal Tracking Tool.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach.
  • Previous experience of having mentored Production Assistants.

This role is Hybrid, which means the employee will be required to work a minimum of 2 days on-site per week at a Company designated location, and occasionally from home.
