About the Team
You will join our Marketplace / Multi-Party Payments (MPM) product team, focused on building and scaling our Payout and Money Management capabilities. This team is at the core of enabling platforms and marketplaces to:
- Collect, manage, and move funds at scale
- Deliver seamless payout experiences across geographies and currencies
- Unlock new revenue streams through embedded financial services
We operate in a highly dynamic environment, partnering closely with engineering, architecture, delivery, and commercial teams to bring complex payment flows to life for our clients. This is a delivery-focused product role, where execution, pace, and measurable outcomes are critical.
Role Summary
As a Product Owner, you are responsible for translating product strategy into execution, ensuring your team consistently delivers high-quality, customer-centric outcomes. You will act as the bridge between business intent and technical delivery, owning backlog definition, prioritisation, and sprint execution to deliver tangible value in each iteration. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive delivery predictability, clarity, and impact across the Payout and Money Management product suite.
Key Responsibilities (Delivery Focused)
- Own End-to-End Delivery for Your Product Area
- Take full ownership of delivery outcomes across your product domain
- Translate roadmap priorities into clear, executable increments
- Ensure features are delivered on time, meet acceptance criteria, and drive measurable value
- Manage and Prioritise the Product Backlog
- Define, refine, and prioritise backlog items based on business value and delivery feasibility
- Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics
- Continuously adapt priorities to reflect changing customer, regulatory, and commercial needs
- Drive Agile Execution and Sprint Delivery
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily execution alignment with engineering teams
- Set clear sprint goals and ensure teams understand “what success looks like”
- Actively manage scope, dependencies, and delivery risks
- Be the Bridge Between Business and Technology
- Translate complex payments, marketplace, and operational requirements into clear technical deliverables
- Work closely with engineering, architecture, and stakeholders to unblock delivery
- Ensure alignment between strategic intent and what is built by the team
- Ensure Quality, Adoption, and Continuous Improvement
- Accept delivered work and ensure it meets defined standards and business outcomes
- Support go-live activities, rollout, and stakeholder readiness
- Work closely with Operations stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions into general availability
- Gather feedback, measure performance, and iterate quickly to improve product outcomes
What You’ll Bring Experience
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or delivery-focused product role within Agile teams
- Strong track record of shipping production-ready features in complex environments
- Experience in payments, fintech, marketplaces, or financial platforms (highly preferred)
- Exposure to payout flows, funds management, or financial operations is a strong advantage
