At DXC, one of our platinum accounts has an opening for a Senior Security Architect. We are looking for the following for successful candidates to join our expanding team.

Role responsibilities:
  • Architect solutions and technically lead their implementation, ensuring adherence to customer security policies and standards.
  • Work closely with the customer’s architecture team to develop solutions.
  • Assess security risks by identifying vulnerabilities and defining security requirements to address known and future threats.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce security policy standards to ensure compliance with customer security and legal requirements.
  • Provide assistance and support on architectural/technical issues to other team members as required, whilst sharing technical knowledge and experiences.
  • Gain and maintain a working knowledge of the DXC Portfolio of Security Products and Services, promoting this with the customer and encouraging best fit solutions.
  • Continually review and enhance existing knowledge of the security aspects of common product sets and technologies.
  • Provide ‘soft’ consultancy skills and a proactive approach to gain the absolute trust of our customers.
  • Participate in providing mentoring support and guidance to team members to help grow skills and capabilities.
What you will bring to the team:
  • Desirable 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role relevant to security architecture.
  • Knowledge in key areas of Information Security Technology, with experience in applying relevant controls appropriately.
  • An understanding of Information Security Consultancy and experience working with clients to capture requirements and formulate solutions.
  • Knowledge of security architectural and/or enterprise architectural frameworks (e.g., SABSA, TOGAF).
  • Delivering security architectures as part of a broader enterprise or IS/IT architecture.
  • Ability to interpret and apply appropriate standards, policies, and legislation, e.g., PCI DSS, COBIT, SOX, DPA, HMG SPF, JSP 440, CESG IA Portfolio, ISO27001, etc.
  • Understanding of threat and risk analysis methodologies/techniques and the interpretation/application of their output in the definition of security architecture.
  • An understanding of security principles, technologies and industry standards and frameworks, such as the NIST.
  • Experience in solutioning and bid work.
  • Experience with cloud and on-premises development and security requirements.
  • Some industry or HMG security experience, depending on skill level.
Desirable Skills and Technologies:
  • BSC and/or MSc in IT Security or related subject or relevant industry experience.
  • CompTIA Security+.
  • Associate membership grade with CIISEC.
  • ICS2 Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and/or Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP).
  • CESG Certified Cyber Professional (CCP) in Security Architecture or Risk Management.
  • Additional cloud security qualifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google.
