JD.com is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer responsible for the development of our eCommerce iOS apps in European countries such as the UK, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. In this role, you will implement the mobile user‑friendly eCommerce apps. You will work closely with the product management and other engineering teams to deliver user‑centric solutions in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Joybuy app.
  • Participate in product requirement discussions.
  • Formulate scalable and most suitable technical solutions.
  • Develop according to requirements to ensure quality and delivery timelines.
  • Solve technical challenges in the iOS client and optimize product performance.
  • Work onsite in London.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years of iOS development experience.
  • Proficient in OC and Swift programming languages, familiar with development frameworks and commonly used third‑party libraries.
  • Proven track record of large user base apps (e.g., managing app products with over 100+ daily active users).
  • Familiar with common data structures and algorithms, network communication mechanisms, and commonly used data transmission protocols.
  • Proficient in iOS performance optimization and memory optimization techniques, with strong problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Experience in one or more complete iOS projects, with core design and development responsibilities in at least one commercial‑grade project.
  • Passionate, strong ability to work under pressure, with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit, good English communication skills.
  • Keen interest in new technologies, capable of self‑learning and rapid learning to continuously improve technical skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in eCommerce iOS development.
  • Committed to open‑source projects.
  • Proficiency in Chinese, German, French, Dutch or other languages is a plus.
