About the team: You will lead a team of 12 MDR’s qualifying and generating new logo leads for our organisation. This team brings incremental pipeline, speeds up the sales process and increases sales capacity.

About the role: We are looking for a high‑energy, highly disciplined International Market Development Manager to lead and scale our International MDR function. This is a hands‑on frontline leadership role for someone who thrives on building high‑performing teams, enforcing operational excellence, and partnering closely with Sales and Marketing to generate new‑logo pipeline. You will hire, train, coach, and motivate an international team of MDRs, ensuring they follow defined processes, SLAs, and qualification standards to the dot. Reporting to the Senior Director of Demand Generation, you will work cross‑functionally with Digital, Web, Regional Marketing, Analytics, and Sales teams to optimise performance, accelerate onboarding, and continuously raise the bar on execution — particularly across AI‑enabled, hyper‑personalised demand generation. This role suits someone super organised, commercially minded, and relentless about follow‑through, who enjoys turning structure into results and making a function succeed at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, hire and develop a high‑performing MDR team: You will be hiring, onboarding, and coaching around 12 FTE, with a strong focus on accelerating time‑to‑productivity. Drive continuous improvement through optimised onboarding, regular performance feedback, and active management of capacity, progression, and career development to retain and grow top talent.
  • Drive best‑in‑class MDR execution: Champion a value‑led MDR approach centred on authentic conversations and relationship building, while advancing AI‑assisted prospecting, messaging, and engagement in close partnership with Sales, Digital, and Marketing. Use performance, engagement, and intent data to continuously improve outreach quality and efficiency, supported by a clear MDR playbook, well‑defined KPIs, and team initiatives that drive focus and performance. Lead by example, consistently modelling high standards in communication, preparation, and execution.
  • AI‑enabled and digital alignment: Champion the use of AI and automation to enable hyper‑personalised, scalable MDR engagement across email, social, chat, and web‑sourced leads. Partner closely with Digital and Web teams, where most inbound demand originates, to improve lead quality, routing, enrichment, and prioritisation; close the loop between digital performance and sales outcomes; guide MDRs on how to combine AI insights with human judgment to deliver relevant, timely, and high‑quality prospect interactions; experiment with and operationalise new tools, workflows, and AI‑driven approaches that increase speed‑to‑pipeline without sacrificing quality.
  • Be the feedback engine between Marketing and Sales: Build solid, continuous feedback loops with Sales, Marketing, Analytics, and Operations to optimise reporting, segmentation, tooling, and workflows. Use frontline insights and performance data to inform audience strategy, messaging, campaigns, and demand generation, while partnering cross‑functionally on experimentation and ongoing optimisation across segments, channels, and AI‑led initiatives.
  • Own MDR operational excellence: Drive operational excellence across the MDR function by improving processes, productivity, and scalability, while ensuring rigorous Salesforce hygiene and accurate reporting. Manage performance against demand‑management SLAs, forecast and plan team capacity aligned to growth and pipeline targets, and provide a structured, reliable operational backbone that enables predictable, high‑quality delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in MDR/SDR/Inside Sales roles within a B2B organisation, with a consistent record of target achievement.
  • Experience managing, recruiting, and developing MDR/SDR teams.
  • Excellent understanding of modern sales and qualification methodologies.
  • Hands‑on experience with Salesforce, workflow tools (e.g. Groove, SalesLoft or equivalent), chat tools, Sales Navigator, and AI‑enabled tools (e.g. building agents/GPTs, enrichment, intent, or automation solutions).
  • Highly data‑driven; comfortable using metrics, signals, and experimentation to diagnose and improve performance.
  • Proven ability to build relationships across Sales, Marketing, Digital, Operations, and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a strong advantage for this region.

Success Behaviours

  • High energy with exceptional organisation and discipline.
  • Detail‑oriented, structured, and process‑driven.
  • High level sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Positive, team‑first mindset with a can‑do attitude.
  • Diplomatic and effective when working cross‑functionally.
