In this role, you will handle and grow FTSE Russell Index Distribution and Third‑Party Data Vendor partnerships while identifying new opportunities that support sustainable business growth. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver client‑focused outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Manage and grow your regional territory and assigned book of business through thoughtful account management and client engagement.
  • Generate new business by finding opportunities with both existing and prospective clients, aligned with FTSE Russell’s strategic priorities.
  • Maintain accurate management of sales activity, pipeline, and client interactions in Salesforce.com to support visibility and efficient collaboration.
  • Collaborate with internal leaders and colleagues across Sales, Product, and Client Experience to deliver equitable client outcomes.
  • Contribute to the implementation of Index Distribution and Third‑Party Data Vendor strategy, with a focus on growth through trusted client relationships.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant experience gained through alternative pathways.
  • Experience in product and market strategy, business processes, financial services, or related domains.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative working environment that values varied perspectives and backgrounds.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills:

  • 5–7 years of sales experience in financial services, index distribution, or third‑party data vendor roles (or equivalent experience gained through alternative routes).
  • Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, index distribution ecosystems, and (ideally) third‑party data vendor models.
  • Extensive experience in sales and relationship management within Index Distribution and/or Third‑Party Data Vendor organizations.
  • Uses a data‑informed approach to prospecting, decision‑making, and strategy development.
  • Able to simplify deal structures while overcoming client objections.
  • Self‑starter who brings initiative, creativity, and accountability to developing new client opportunities and strengthening relationships.
  • A collaborative team player who balances client needs with firm priorities and acts as a thoughtful, responsible steward of the firm.
