At Expedia Group’s Creative Lab, you’ll help shape how technology powers our brand across global marketing communications and programs, turning creative ambitions into scalable reality. Our Creative Lab sits at the intersection of marketing and storytelling, shaping how millions of people experience our brand every day. We’re building the next generation of AI‑powered marketing and creative systems, and we’re looking for a Generative AI Creative to help define what that looks like.

We are seeking a creative who operates at the frontier of creative technology and marketing, inventing AI‑powered workflows, tools, and experiences that elevate how our brand shows up across campaigns, channels, and product surfaces. You’ll help transform how integrated marketing gets made—scaling craft, accelerating experimentation and adaptive storytelling. You’ll help ensure our brands, Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo show up in ways that are smarter, more personal, more dynamic and distinctive for our travellers.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner closely with brand designers, copywriters, the marketing team, creative technologists and product teams: Acting as a bridge between creative, marketing, and technical disciplines, you’ll translate marketing and brand objectives into scalable systems and put new AI capabilities into the hands of global teams.
  • Design AI‑native marketing and creative workflows: Architect and prototype generative systems that support end‑to‑end campaign development, from concepting and content creation to testing and optimisation.
  • Bridge creative, marketing, and engineering: Translate creative vision and marketing strategy into clear technical requirements, and bring emerging AI capabilities into practical, production‑ready applications across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Scale from prototype to platform: Turn early experiments into robust, reusable tools and templates that can be adopted across markets, channels, and teams—integrated into existing marketing workflows, DAMs, and production pipelines.
  • Champion adoption and enablement: Act as a catalyst for AI in marketing and creative—leading workshops, demos, playbooks, and hands‑on collaborations that make complex tools approachable, safe, and inspiring for non‑technical teams.
  • Shape the future of brand and marketing systems: Push the boundaries of how identity, motion, storytelling, and design systems adapt in real time—exploring new formats, generative brand components, and interactive experiences across channels.
  • Stay at the edge of creative tech, future state thinking: Continuously evaluate emerging models, tools, standards, and best practices in AI, marketing technology, and creative tech—bringing in new thinking, and helping define guardrails and guidelines for responsible use.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years’ experience across brand, digital, or product/marketing as a hybrid creative designer–developer, motion designer, or technical marketer.
  • Hands‑on with modern generative AI (e.g., diffusion models, LLMs, node‑based workflows, fine‑tuning, prompting for production use).
  • Advanced knowledge of AI tools (e.g., Runway ML, TensorFlow Magenta) and generative AI models (e.g., GPT‑3, StyleGAN). Node Based Workflows i.e. Comfy, Weavy.
  • Fluent across 2D, motion, and/or 3D workflows, with an understanding of how assets and systems scale across multi‑channel campaigns and product surfaces.
  • Deep creative craft and taste in visual, interaction, or experiential design, combined with a systems and tooling mindset.
  • Comfortable moving from conceptual exploration and prototyping to production‑ready implementation and documentation.
  • A connector who can influence and align designers, marketers, engineers, and leadership, and tell a clear story about the value of AI in marketing.
  • Curious, experimental, and motivated by redefining how marketing and creative work happens through technology.
  • Hands‑on experience, e.g., Figma, Unity, Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D, and After Effects.
