About the Role
We’re hiring a General Ledger Accountant to own the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of Nscale’s financial records. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role sits at the center of the Finance function and works closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Finance leadership. You’ll maintain the general ledger, manage key elements of the month-end close, and ensure transactional data is accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported in line with accounting standards and internal controls.

What you’ll be doing
- General Ledger Management
- Process journal entries across the general ledger with precision and timeliness.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure correct coding and classification of transactions.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to supporting documentation, subsidiary ledgers, and external statements.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, posting errors, and reconciliation variances promptly.
- Month-End & Period Close
- Execute month-end close procedures, including accruals, adjusting entries.
