You will work within Front Office IT Support and Trading Technology environments supporting live trading activity across multiple asset classes. Systems are production-critical, operate in real time and require a strong focus on stability, performance and incident management. The role involves close interaction with traders, sales, risk, development and infrastructure teams.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Front Office IT Support Engineer to support, operate and continuously improve trading and electronic trading systems. The role goes beyond reactive support. It involves active ownership of Front Office platforms, participation in change initiatives and hands-on investigation of production issues in real-time environments. This position suits profiles with a strong interest in trading systems, production environments and progressive technical exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Support & Operations
- Provide Front Office IT support for live trading environments
- Ensure trading systems are available, stable and performant during market hours
- Monitor real-time trading activity and system behaviour
- Investigate and resolve production incidents
- Participate in incident, problem and change management processes
- System Configuration & Performance
- Manage real-time trading and market data configurations
- Tune market data and market access parameters
- Support electronic execution and matching workflows
- Contribute to performance optimisation of trading platforms
- Assist with deployment of new versions, releases and features
- Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to Front Office IT and trading technology projects
- Support testing, releases and change implementations
- Report, track and follow up on bugs and production issues
- Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to improve platform reliability
