About you: You are a commercially astute, senior finance leader with the confidence and credibility to operate at executive and Board level within a fast-growing, private equity–backed business. You combine deep financial expertise with a forward-looking, strategic mindset, enabling you to influence decision‑making and drive sustainable growth. As a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you bring strong financial stewardship, robust governance, and insightful commercial challenge. You balance attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture, supporting a business with ambitious growth and acquisition plans while maintaining a strong control environment and statutory compliance. You thrive in high‑profile, high‑impact roles and are motivated by partnering closely with both finance and non‑finance leaders to deliver results.

Day to day you will:

  • Act as a trusted commercial partner to the General Manager Director and divisional leadership team, supporting and constructively challenging the business to maximise performance.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting, providing clear, timely insight to executive and Board‑level stakeholders.
  • Drive optimisation of financial performance against key metrics, improving predictability through robust forecasting, review and control frameworks.
  • Provide financial leadership on strategic initiatives including business cases, pricing, investment decisions and acquisition integration.
  • Ensure strong financial governance, cash flow management, risk management and regulatory compliance across the division.

Your skills and experience might also include:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA and/or MBA) with extensive experience in senior Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering roles within fast‑paced, high‑growth organisations.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with a proven ability to influence senior non‑finance leaders, drive business strategy, and support executive decision‑making.
  • Advanced financial capability including budgeting, forecasting, performance management, financial modelling and investment appraisal, supported by strong Excel skills.
  • Experience operating in matrixed, private equity–backed and/or acquisitive environments, with exposure to M&A, acquisition integration and complex stakeholder structures.
  • Background in software, SaaS or subscription‑based business models preferred, including revenue growth, pricing, and recurring revenue frameworks.
