We are a global climate technologies company engineered for sustainability. We are looking for a driven Deployment Engineer to join Bueno (a Copeland brand) and support our growing UK operations. This role acts as the critical technical link between complex building systems — including BMS, HVAC, EMS, and refrigeration systems — and Bueno’s cloud-based analytics platform. You will be responsible for deploying the Bueno platform across client sites, from initial system integration through to data tagging, modelling, and verification. Working closely with internal engineering teams, clients, and contractors, you will help ensure high‑quality data delivery that enables building optimization, operational efficiency, and carbon reduction outcomes across the built environment.

Technical Deployment & Integration

  • Execute technical deployments connecting client building systems to the Bueno platform across multiple projects and portfolio rollouts.
  • Perform BACnet discovery, Modbus configuration, and object verification against site schematics to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Work with client IT/OT teams and vendors to establish secure connectivity and troubleshoot data flow issues.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual edge devices.

Project Support & Operations

  • Prepare and deliver site deployments in line with project timelines and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to provide technical guidance on software deployment, analytics services, and data capture.
  • Maintain deployment documentation and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Identify deployment risks, technical issues, and opportunities to improve engineering standards and operational efficiency.

Required skills and qualifications

  • 2+ years of practical experience within HVAC, Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation, or related technical environments.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC and/or refrigeration systems gained through industry experience or formal education.
  • Solid practical knowledge of BACnet and Modbus protocols.
  • Good understanding of core IT networking principles including IP addressing, subnets, and basic routing.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Must have full rights to work in the UK.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Experience with BMS platforms commonly used across the UK and Europe.
  • Knowledge of modern IoT and web protocols such as MQTT and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments, particularly Ubuntu.
  • Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Experience working with cloud‑based ETL or data ingestion workflows.

Benefits

  • Flexible and competitive benefits plans offer the right options to meet your individual/family needs.
  • We provide employees with flexible time off plans, including parental leave, vacation and holiday leave.
