About Lorum Global payments are not broken. Incentives are. Clearing has been deprioritised inside balance sheet driven institutions whose models rely on lending and interest. When liquidity takes priority over settlement, payments slow and certainty drops. The same financial institutions that distort clearing as providers are disadvantaged as users. They are forced into fragmented setups, inconsistent rails, duplicated compliance, and unpredictable timelines. Stablecoin shortcuts and treasury pooling treat symptoms at the surface, but almost no one is rebuilding the underlying infrastructure in each market.

Rebuilding clearing from the ground up. We are rebuilding clearing as its own specialist function. We act as a clearing and transaction banking partner for regulated institutions, with treasury built into the core so liquidity, settlement, and reconciliation sit in one controlled system. Our platform unifies global and local licenses, direct central bank clearing, and domestic rails. We allow clients to open named customer accounts in every market we operate, collecting funds and paying out through a single network while retaining full ownership of their customer relationships. Market expansion becomes as simple as one correspondent relationship, not hundreds.

Why Lorum? Joining Lorum means contributing to one of the most ambitious clearing infrastructure projects in global finance. You will help shape settlement systems that perform under real regulatory standards and institutional volumes. You will build for regulated institutions that rely on precision, predictable timelines, and regulatory integrity. It is about working across currencies, markets, and supervisory frameworks to deliver reliable, final settlement.

About this role. We are hiring a Content Lead to build and run Lorum’s content engine, turning data and operator insight into demand, trust, and press. This role owns Lorum’s editorial strategy and importantly, executes on it. You will be shaping the narratives, reports, and case studies that define our voice, globally. You’ll set the editorial agenda, run the publishing cycle end‑to‑end, and ensure every piece of content delivers measurable impact. You’ll work directly with our Head of Growth Marketing, and manage external contributors (designers, analysts etc) to bring clarity to complex ideas, producing source-driven, high-quality content that reflects Lorum’s vision and voice.

Key responsibilities

  • Editorial strategy: Define and execute Lorum’s quarterly editorial agenda tied to key corridors, markets, and products. Translate business and marketing strategy into editorial narratives, longform outlines, and data-backed storylines. Lead the creation of industry reports, thought‑leadership articles, and case studies that drive credibility and inbound interest.
  • Publishing & distribution: Manage Lorum’s owned channels such as blog, newsletter, LinkedIn and ensure a consistent, authoritative voice. Develop and run repurposing and syndication plans for every major content asset. Maintain a clean, forward‑looking editorial calendar and contributor SLAs. Oversee publishing workflows and ensure timely execution across all channels.
  • Content production & management: Write and edit briefs, outlines, and executive‑level drafts. Run expert interviews, surveys, and research initiatives to strengthen data‑led storytelling. Manage and quality‑control freelance writers, designers, and analysts. Own content distribution across social, email, partnerships, and PR. Track and report on performance metrics: engagement, assisted pipeline, backlinks, and time‑to‑publish. Maintain a living content playbook to continuously improve tone, structure, and process.

Ideal candidate

  • Must‑Haves: 5+ years of experience creating B2B content in fintech, payments, or banking. Editor‑level writing and editing skills that are clear, concise, and source‑driven. Proven experience producing or managing data‑led reports and longform research. Strong grounding in SEO, digital PR, and content distribution fundamentals. Comfortable managing an editorial calendar and a distributed contributor bench. Highly organised, accountable, and able to move from concept to publish independently.
  • Nice‑to‑Haves: Established media relationships within fintech and payments. Experience managing research partnerships, analysts, or contributors. Understanding of cross‑functional alignment between content, brand, and comms teams.

Benefits:

  • Opportunity to travel (if applicable).
  • Flexible vacation policy.
  • Private Healthcare.
  • Employee stock ownership (ESOP).
  • Flexible working and autonomy.
  • Pay it forward days - we offer 2 annual pay it forward days where you can take time to volunteer for a charitable cause that is important to you.
  • Wellness days - we believe you can only work your best when you feel your best, and we know working at Lorum is intense, so we offer 3 wellness days every quarter where you can take time to re‑energise.
