In our FTI EMEA Financial Services practice, we support clients at times of crisis and transformation. We determine the direction of the company at critical moments, for example when they need to tackle high-stakes risk, performance issues, restructuring challenges and growth opportunities.
The Consultant will assist with the execution of client projects, working closely with clients and FTI Consulting teams. Your client base will include banks and their supervisors but also asset managers/owners, private markets, payments, fintech, sovereign wealth/development funds.
What You’ll Do
- You will support clients facing crisis and transformation situations, including but not limited to the following areas:
- Business transformation and efficiency, including large-scale transformations, cost efficiency, target operating model, etc.
- Balance sheet and restructuring, including capital/liquidity/funding, portfolio & entity level restructurings
- Risk and regulation, including at the intersection of transformation, financial crime, financial risks, geopolitical risks, etc.
- Data, technology and AI transformation
- Transaction advisory, including due diligence and value creation at both entity and portfolio level
- Event-driven crises impacting the financial services ecosystem, such as fraud, cyber incidents, hostile takeovers or regulatory intervention to name a few
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Help structure and lead a project workstream to ensure critical project deadlines are met
- Work side by side with clients
- Work as a close-knit team to ensure the best outcome for our clients is achieved
- Analyze client and market data to uncover unique insights, and turn these insights into recommendations and actionable plans
- Conduct operational and financial analyses to identify strengths and pain points
- Translate recommendations into digestible storylines that can be presented to C-suite

Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business, engineering or finance (or equivalent)
- Experience as a Consultant/Senior Consultant at a Tier 1 consulting firm or a financial services institution
- Experience in or affinity with financial services or the financial services ecosystem (e.g., banks, regulators, fintech)
