Job Description

You will work closely with the Technology Services (TS) function, advising on best-practice internal communications to support Brambles’ strategic agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement engaging, relevant, and timely internal communications strategies in collaboration with business stakeholders for specific regions or functions.
  • Build a robust internal network within the organization to identify communication opportunities and challenges, while working closely with global teams to tailor regional communications effectively.
  • Execute communication plans for key projects and initiatives that support broader company objectives, ensuring alignment across regions and functions.
  • Develop and update crisis communications and response protocols for the region or function, working with regional teams to ensure preparedness.
  • Assist in the production and approval of corporate reports, presentations, and other publications, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Identify and track key metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication programs, continuously improving communication strategies based on data insights.
  • Create compelling content across multiple formats, including news articles, videos, podcasts, infographics, and other visual communication tools.
  • Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance communication capabilities and drive wider awareness of effective internal communication practices across the organization.

Major Accountabilities

  • Working closely with senior business stakeholders including the CIO, define and implement engaging, relevant and timely internal communications for and from the TS function.
  • Build a strong network within and outside the function to support understanding of opportunities and challenges and help identify communications opportunities.
  • Work closely with regional communications to appropriately tailor global messages and campaigns.
  • Execute communications plans for projects and initiatives that support company objectives.
  • Identify and share key metrics to measure communication program effectiveness.
  • Develop content including news articles, videos, podcasts, infographics and other visual communications.

Experience

  • Over three years experience working in a communications and/or public relations role.
  • Experience dealing with a significant and diverse range of employee audiences and stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with individuals/teams at all levels within an organisation.
  • Experience providing communications business partnership.
  • Proven discretion and experience dealing with confidential information.

Knowledge

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills (in English).
  • Flexible, self-motivated, engaged, result-driven and pro-active.
  • Ability to relate to, collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in relevant computer applications, such as Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, video editing and design software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Sustainability, Logistics, Commerce or related discipline.
  • Desirable: Qualifications in written and graphical content production and management.
