As part of the Insight Client Engagement team, you will help coordinate activities across the growing team and serve as a key point of contact in the client–analyst relationship. You will manage client interactions throughout the pre- and post-sales process, supporting the continued expansion of Kpler Insight. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Sales and Insight teams, as well as with prospects and clients. You should feel confident engaging clients on the energy commodities markets, as well as the wider commodity landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Acting as a liaison between Kpler’s commercial teams and the Insight analysts.
- Assisting with the sales process of Kpler Insight - using Kpler’s proprietary information, work closely with the sales and marketing teams to demonstrate the value of Kpler’s solutions to the industry, helping demonstrate the value proposition.
- Compiling and presenting cross-commodity market updates as both part of the sales process and ongoing client engagement.
- Coordinating with the broader Insight team when more specific or in-depth presentations are required.
- Promoting research and materials produced within Kpler across all external stakeholders, building relationships with both the mainstream and specialist media.
- Producing and presenting company webinars as well as participating in external webinars and conferences as a panellist or speaker.
- Using your experience to enhance our commodity market coverage, working alongside the rest of the Insight team to implement these improvements.
- Essential: 8+ years trading/analysis experience of a major commodity group with a preference for Gas/LNG markets. Confident external speaker, e.g., conferences.
- Desirable: Have worked in a sell-side research business. Experience of working with live media.
- Technical / Functional Skills: High level of competency using MS Excel and Powerpoint. Solid understanding of the market dynamics of commodities with a focus on at least one from Oil, gas/LNG and dry bulk.
- Behavioural Competencies: At ease talking to clients and prospects in high stress/demanding environments.
