Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate / Consultant to join our growing Evidence Strategy team in the London office. You will play a strategic role in solving clients’ commercial and clinical challenges with robust evidence generation plans, evidence synthesis, and value communication. The right candidate will be familiar with health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) and market access requirements and be able to think innovatively and strategically to address evolving client needs on a global scale. An activator mindset is critical to our daily work, turning complex problems into actionable solutions while maintaining a high bar for excellence.
Position Responsibilities
- Execute robust evidence generation planning and synthesis: Drive projects with a strong sense of accountability, ensuring accuracy and quality control in deliverables across integrated evidence generation planning, systematic literature reviews, and related strategic evidence activities.
- Summarize innovative evidence strategy recommendations: Consider variable client needs and market dynamics throughout engagements to adapt and optimize evidence strategy recommendations to enhance the value-add of projects.
- Conduct comprehensive secondary research: Gather, analyse, and synthesise information from secondary research databases (e.g., PubMed / MEDLINE, Embase, etc.).
- Support the transition from evidence generation to impactful scientific dissemination: Provide strategic solutions to communicate key themes and messages via value dossiers, peer-reviewed journal publications, and conference abstracts/posters, ensuring clear and concise communication suited for a variety of stakeholders.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Produce primary research materials: Develop screeners, discussion guides, and stimuli materials. Effectively moderate/support qualitative primary research interviews.
- Execute HEOR studies and analysis: Support adjacent HEOR workstreams including analysis of quantitative primary research, indirect treatment comparisons, health economic modelling, etc.
- Integrate cross-functional technical insights: Collaborate with colleagues from cross-functional teams to support HEOR, real-world evidence (RWE), and Value Communication engagements.
- Participate in client engagement activities: Actively participate in client engagement opportunities and support leadership colleagues with ongoing business development and relationship building.
Position Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in health economics or associated life sciences field.
- 0-4 years of experience in HEOR or similar field (Associate / Consultant position will depend on the candidate’s previous experience and suitability).
- Experience with evidence planning/strategy and evidence synthesis (HEOR and RWE methodologies) including evidence generation planning, systematic literature reviews, qualitative and quantitative primary research methodologies, and health economic modelling.
- Strong written and oral communications in English language.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Experience using secondary research platforms including PubMed / MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane, etc.
- High attention to detail, good organisational skills, and time management.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate productively with cross-functional business units and teams.
- Proficiency in coding languages for statistical analysis (e.g., R, VBA) and/or Q Research Software, preferred but not required.
