Role Overview
RZR is hiring its first Agency Lead in EMEA, based in London. This is a senior individual contributor role on RZR’s Agency Partnerships team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Agencies. The role is built for a hunter-minded business development professional with deep fluency in the UK and broader European media agency ecosystem. You understand how holding companies operate across EMEA markets, how agencies buy mobile media, and how to build lasting commercial relationships across multiple levels of agency hierarchy. London’s position as the hub of EMEA agency operations makes this role central to RZR’s international growth strategy.
You will own a defined book of business covering holding company and independent agency relationships across the UK and key European markets, driving net new partnerships while deepening commercial engagement within existing ones. The scope spans the full agency landscape: from holding company networks like WPP, Publicis, IPG, Omnicom, Dentsu, and Havas, to high-growth independent agencies across the region. You will serve as RZR’s primary agency presence and voice across EMEA, and you will build that presence from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Agency Pipeline Development
- Own and activate a defined book of business spanning holding company and independent agency relationships across the UK and EMEA region.
- Identify and prioritize net new target agencies across UK and key European markets based on brand portfolio fit with RZR’s ideal client profile.
- Build and execute a structured outreach strategy tailored to local market context and agency culture across each market.
- Develop personalized, insight-driven outreach for each prospect, using tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AppMagic, Sensor Tower, and sales intelligence platforms.
- Maintain a healthy and well-documented pipeline with accurate stage progression and forecasting.
- Generate qualified meetings and advance opportunities through to closed revenue across the region.
- Relationship Building and Expansion
- Multithread across agency organizations, building relationships with investment, activation, strategy, planning, and leadership across UK and European offices.
- Serve as the connective tissue between London-based holding company hubs and their regional agency networks across Europe.
- Expand RZR’s footprint within existing agency relationships by identifying new teams, brands, buying channels, and regional offices.
- Develop a deep understanding of each agency’s EMEA structure, regional decision-making dynamics, and mobile media priorities by market.
- Maintain regular engagement cadences with key contacts to stay top-of-mind and informed on upcoming briefs and budget cycles.
- Market Presence and Brand Representation
- Serve as the face of RZR across the EMEA region, owning the company’s presence and reputation in London and key European markets.
- Represent RZR at major UK and European industry conferences, events, and agency summits, including Cannes Lions, DMEXCO, and key EMEA ad tech gatherings.
- Build RZR’s profile in the EMEA market beyond agency relationships alone, becoming a known and trusted voice in the regional mobile and digital media ecosystem.
- Use events strategically to open new doors, deepen existing relationships, and generate pipeline across the region.
- Partner with the Global Head of Agencies on event strategy, pre-event outreach, and post-event follow-through.
- Feed competitive intelligence and market signals from EMEA events and conversations back to the broader team.
- Operational Excellence
- Keep your CRM (HubSpot) meticulously up to date: contacts, accounts, activities, pipeline stages, and notes.
- Document outreach strategies, meeting outcomes, and key learnings for each.
