An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supervisor Field Service to join the Donaldson Filtration Service team based in Leicester. The Supervisor Field Service will manage through to completion the field service work for Industrial Group (CAP & PF) UK and Ireland of our Field Service Technicians and Approved Service Partners.
The successful Supervisor Field Service will provide effective support to the service team and our customers. Effective organisational skills and confident communication at all levels being essential.
Key responsibilities:- Train and develop service technicians and approved service partners (ASPs).
- Conduct service team meetings.
- Monitor service technician KPIs.
- Ensure quality and safe working practices for all sitework.
- Meet service sales financial targets.
- Willing to travel – related to site visits, external training, overseas visits and meetings.
- Collaborate with service planning to maximise efficiency of service technicians and ASPs; assist with service planning during absences or high demand.
- Manage order book with coordination/planning.
- Liaise with scheduling team on invoicing, work with sub-contractors and third-party suppliers.
- Support service sales with on-site/travel timings, technician requirements and urgent service requests.
- Forecast service work sales figures and work with scheduling team to maintain the accuracy of scheduling software to maintain sales & service frequency.
- Handle customer/site challenges via calls/mails and visit sites to understand customer and technician requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure high-quality, safe service execution and timely/accurate service report creation.
The successful Supervisor Field Service must be a strong team leader and efficient administrator, self-motivated, tenacious, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities.
