As our Claims Auditor, you’ll work with stakeholders to deliver effective audits and reporting with a strong focus on the delivery of robust, risk based audits across Household Claims. This ensures customer outcomes are fair, CiVC responsibilities are aligned and good outcomes are achieved, that regulatory and claims best practice procedures are adhered to – as well as managing leakage and other financial risk.
Job details – you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:
- Developing a complete understanding of internal claims processes, new initiatives, best practices and the impact of inefficient processes on customer service, leakage and fraud
- Developing and carrying out robust, risk based audits across Household (within Insurer Services)
- Delivering balanced, accurate and evidenced feedback to leadership and teams, highlighting strengths and areas of development, and providing solutions where appropriate, ensuring feedback is acted upon
- Identifying areas for indemnity savings and taking appropriate steps to deliver the financial benefits in line with personal and business objectives
- Managing root cause analysis for all complaints, including FOS and recommending improvements that support the goal of reducing justified complaints, increasing renewal retention and complying with FCA regulatory requirements
- Reviewing the quality of work undertaken by yourself and colleagues to ensure audit objectives have been met and that the data provided is of high integrity
Essential skills/experience:
- Must have strong audit experience in a regulated environment (such as insurance, financial services, energy etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret MI and identify areas of risk and opportunity
- Confident communicating and providing feedback to stakeholders and teams at all levels
- Specific household/home/motor audit experience is beneficial but not essential for this role
