The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen to join the Valuation Advisory team at Cushman & Wakefield, based in Leeds and supporting clients across Yorkshire and the North East. We are seeking a motivated Valuation Surveyor with strong experience in commercial real estate, particularly across industrial, office, and retail property sectors. The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative regional and national team, delivering valuation advice to a broad client base including lenders, investors, developers, and property companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake valuations for a variety of purposes, including:
- Secured lending
- Financial reporting
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Portfolio analysis
- Strategic advisory work
Core Duties
- Carry out inspections and prepare valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book standards.
- Deliver advice across a range of asset types, including:
- Industrial & Logistics
- Offices
- High street and out-of-town retail
Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Support business development activity and identify opportunities within the regional market. Work closely with colleagues across agency, capital markets, lease advisory, and wider valuation teams. Contribute positively to team culture and collaborative working practices.
Skills & Experience
- MRICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer preferred.
- Experience within commercial valuation advisory.
- Strong exposure to industrial, office, and retail property sectors.
- Good understanding of the Yorkshire and North East property markets would be advantageous.
- Experience preparing valuation reports for lending and institutional purposes.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and work both independently and collaboratively.
