Join Dedalus as a Business Development Manager on our Commercial team based in the UK, where you will drive the growth of our LIMs product by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and developing strategies to expand our market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to meet the organization’s growth objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including market expansion and partnerships.
  • Drive the sales pipeline by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business deals.
  • Work closely with the sales team to convert leads into revenue, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to ensure profitable business outcomes.

Essential Requirements

  • A background in medical technology or experience in a pathology laboratory or private laboratory is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Experience in healthcare (industry or provider).
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Domain understanding of healthcare data, integration, terminology, research, and analysis.
  • Robust understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in Pathology.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
