The Learning & Development Advisor plays a key role in supporting the design, delivery and evaluation of learning initiatives across the UK and Europe. Working closely with the Learning & Development Manager, HR colleagues and business leaders, the role ensures employees have the skills, knowledge and capabilities required to support TMHCC’s strategic objectives. The role contributes to a broad portfolio of programmes, including leadership and supervisory development, performance management, inclusion and diversity, and employee wellbeing.
This position has exposure to a wide range of stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with HR colleagues and business leaders to identify learning needs and recommend appropriate development solutions aligned to business priorities.
- Design, coordinate and support the delivery of learning and development interventions across the UK and Europe.
- Facilitate engaging learning sessions in both virtual and face-to-face environments.
- Support the coordination of end-to-end L&D projects, including needs analysis, solution design, communication, delivery and evaluation.
- Contribute to the development and ongoing delivery of programmes such as supervisory development, performance management, inclusion and diversity, and employee wellbeing initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions and produce data, insights and analytics to demonstrate impact and inform continuous improvement.
- Develop and publish clear and engaging communications for learning activities, working collaboratively with Marketing and other stakeholders as required.
- Manage relationships with external learning and development vendors, ensuring value for money and quality of delivery.
- Maintain accurate learning records and data through the Learning Management System (LMS) and other relevant tools.
- Ensure learning activities align with internal policies, governance requirements and relevant regulatory standards.
Essential:
- Experience facilitating engaging learning interventions both face-to-face and virtually.
- Experience diagnosing learning needs and recommending relevant learning interventions.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives from inception through to delivery.
- High level of attention to detail, with strong communication skills.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
- Fluency in English.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Europe and internationally as required.
Desirable:
- Learning and Development qualifications or professional certifications.
- Demonstrable experience in scoping, designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development solutions.
- Experience delivering learning content or working with psychometric tools such as Insights Discovery or Hogan.
- Experience administering or supporting Learning Management Systems, such as Workday.
- Previous experience within insurance or financial services.
- Knowledge of, or fluency in, an additional European language.
