We partner with over 300 clients in 40+ countries and counting. Our unique model drives creativity and efficiency, allowing us to deliver tailored solutions that resonate deeply with audiences. As a part of The Brandtech Group, we’re at the forefront of leveraging cutting‑edge AI technology to revolutionise how we create and deliver work. Our AI solutions enhance efficiency, spark creativity, and drive insightful decision‑making, empowering our teams to produce innovative and impactful results.

About the role: Working in partnership with our client, we are seeking a Senior Conceptual Generative AI Art Director / Designer. In this role, you will drive scalable, high‑craft content for world‑famous brands across beauty, home care, and foods. You will shape how the client uses generative AI to create on‑brand visuals, motion, and campaign assets across social, e‑commerce, retail media, and digital channels. Based in Kingston (hybrid), you will lead creative direction and design for priority brands and always‑on programmes. Your expertise in design craft and AI‑enhanced production will raise quality, speed up delivery, and improve effectiveness, ensuring distinctive work that is brand‑safe and rights‑clear. We support flexible working and are open to different arrangements. You will be the creative force and systems thinker behind AI‑enabled design pipelines that deliver timely, consistent, and measurable results. Working at the intersection of brand strategy, design, motion, and AI, you will translate briefs, insights, and assets into visual territories, storyboards, and polished outputs that drive engagement and conversion. We are looking for someone who can blend hands‑on craft with repeatable workflows, finding scalable approaches that protect brand equity and accelerate time to market. Success will be measured by uplift in creative performance, reusable prompt libraries and playbooks, frictionless approvals, and an up‑skilled team.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead concepting and art direction for AI first and hybrid campaigns that improve brand distinctiveness and performance
  • Design repeatable AI pipelines (prompt libraries, reference sets, LoRA/ControlNet setups) that produce consistent, on‑brand results
  • Create key visuals, product renders, packshots, social content, storyboards, styleframes and motion loops for priority channels
  • Spearhead pilots in personalisation and content at scale for e‑commerce and retail media, improving speed to live and ROI
  • Build and mentor designers, motion specialists and editors, fostering a learning culture and clear quality standards
  • Collaborate with brand teams, creatives, producers, strategists, legal and procurement to ensure rights, approvals and governance
  • Transform CADs, pack shots, ingredient imagery, UGC and legacy assets into new campaign‑ready content
  • Shape genAI guidelines for brands, including metadata, disclosure, watermarking and accessibility considerations
  • Stay ahead of AI and design developments; turn trends into tested prototypes, toolkits and training for the wider team
  • Deliver work that lifts priority KPIs (attention, CTR, add to cart, watchthrough) while reducing cost, timelines and production footprint

What you need to be great in this role:

  • A portfolio showing standout generativeAI work and high craft design across social, e‑commerce and motion, ideally for large consumer brands
  • Mastery of prompt design, reference control and post‑production to achieve repeatable, on‑brand outcomes
  • Proven ability to take ideas from moodboard to final delivery, directing synthetic or live action as needed
  • Expertise with tools such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion/SDXL (e.g., ComfyUI or Automatic1111), Adobe Firefly, Photoshop Generative Fill, Runway, After Effects and Premiere Pro; familiarity with ControlNet, IPAdapter, and LoRA training is a plus
  • Experience leading end‑to‑end creative production at scale, including versioning, file hygiene, accessibility checks and DAM handover
  • A talent for presenting ideas and explaining AI methods to nontechnical stakeholders, with clear, constructive feedback
  • The ability to collaborate across disciplines, plan calmly under pressure and resolve ambiguity with practical choices
  • An eye for responsible AI: data provenance, licences, bias mitigation, likeness and trademark considerations, and brand safety
  • Professional proficiency in English and confidence working with global stakeholders

Qualifications: formal degrees are welcome but not required. Equivalent experience counts. Experience can come from work, study, volunteering or self‑directed learning.

Our values shape everything we do: Be Ambitious to succeed, Be Imaginative to push the boundaries of what’s possible, Be Inspirational to do groundbreaking work, Be always learning and listening to understand, Be Results‑focused to exceed expectations, Be actively pro‑inclusive and anti‑racist across our community, clients and creations.
