Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality customer calls to specialised health care professionals (secondary care; other targeted specialists), integrating digital tools (e-detail, 1:1 email etc.) to deliver appropriate content.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product and disease area knowledge to influence product advocacy across opinion leaders and key decision makers to improve patient care and drive product performance.
  • Achieve effective target customer coverage and frequency to drive product awareness, utilisation and advocacy.
  • Build trust and develop relationships with key secondary care stakeholders using a strategic account management approach including stakeholder management, particularly within larger hospitals.
  • Contribute to national performance by achieving regional targets according to plan.
  • Regularly analyse regional performance, competitor activities, customer networks and customer beliefs to develop and implement impactful tactics within the regional account plan.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with regional key account managers, medical, marketing and further internal and external stakeholders to drive an integrated approach living the One GSK mindset.
  • Prioritise customers and regularly update segmentation and targeting according to the Specialty Care strategy.
  • Support implementation of services/solutions/commercial propositions to ensure access of GSK medicines to all eligible patients, acting in line with local legal requirements and GSK guidelines.
  • Manage all role-related processes autonomously, including consistent updating of CRM data, and ensure compliance with governance guidelines in projects, sponsorships and events.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education in Medical Field or Business Administration.
  • Experience in a sales or customer facing role.
  • Ability to understand complex products and disease areas and to build credibility with specialist external health care professionals.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess regional performance, competitors and customer networks.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key secondary care stakeholders using a strategic account management approach.
  • Languages: German and English, written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s degree (Science or Arts) in Medical Field or Business Administration.
  • Advanced experience in promoting pharmaceutical products to specialised healthcare professionals.
  • French language skills are a plus.
