You will work within trading, risk or post-trade technology environments built around ION platforms. These platforms support end-to-end workflows including:

  • trade capture and lifecycle management
  • risk and valuation processes
  • operational and regulatory flows
  • integration with upstream and downstream systems

The role involves close interaction with business users and strong ownership of platform behaviour in production environments.

Role Overview

We are looking for ION Platform Specialists to work on production-critical trading and risk platforms. This role is intentionally open and may suit profiles with a background in:

  • development
  • application or production support
  • business analysis
  • hybrid roles combining several of these aspects

What matters most is strong ION platform expertise, production awareness and the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Ownership & Production

  • Work on ION platforms supporting trading and risk activities
  • Ensure platform stability, data integrity and workflow consistency
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents
  • Act as a key point of contact between technology and business users
  • Participate in platform upgrades and release activities

Configuration, Development & Integration

  • Configure and customise ION modules and workflows
  • Develop or enhance scripts, integrations and platform components
  • Work on interfaces with surrounding systems and data sources
  • Contribute to performance tuning and platform optimisation

Business Interaction & Analysis

  • Work closely with Front Office, Risk or Operations users
  • Understand business processes and translate them into platform solutions
  • Participate in requirements analysis, testing and delivery
  • Support users during change and onboarding phases

Technical Environment
