You will be joining the Control Testing and Monitoring team in the Investment Bank’s (IB) Divisional Controls Office (DCO). DCO is responsible for the global control environment across Investment Banking (IB) and is closely aligned with the business, providing central oversight for Front Office (FO) control framework activities, including design, implementation, ongoing assurance/validation of key FO owned controls. The purpose of the Team is to provide the IB with assurance that the Non-Financial / Operational Risk control framework is effective. The Team is responsible for testing the design and operating effectiveness of IB FO owned key controls, monitoring these controls through Continuous Control Metrics (CCM) and performing quality assurance (QA) on Governance fora.

Your key responsibilities:
- Lead the expansion of CCM metrics across multiple divisions
- Provide oversight and support to CCM team members responsible for sourcing, developing and maintaining CCM metrics, including the IB CCM dashboard
- Drive the adoption of data analytics and AI-enabled tools to support the testing and monitoring of Key Controls
- Perform targeted reviews and deep-dives in response to new business activities, emerging risks, incidents, control changes or stakeholder requests
- Identify control design gaps and execution weaknesses, partnering with Control Owners to agree pragmatic enhancements and sustainable remediation plans
Your skills and experience:
- Strong understanding of control design principles and Non-Financial / Operational Risk frameworks
- Experience in Audit, Controls Testing, Assurance, or the Business Control Unit with in-depth knowledge of IB products
- Demonstrable experience using Data Analytics and other technologies (e.g., AI-enabled tools) to support or execute control testing and monitoring
- Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders across multiple divisions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present confidently and produce clear, concise written material and proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications
- Proactive and delivery focused with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, structured and meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
