What is the opportunity? You will be principally responsible for delivering net revenue growth for the Intermediary business by focusing on achieving team and individual net sales targets set under the location leadership. You'll help to drive efficiency within the team to sustain business growth while ensuring good adviser and client outcomes. A key part of the role will entail client relationship management, leading digital adoption, and supporting other team members and colleagues.

What will you do? Responsible for management of a client base of advisors and their underlying clients, developing and maintaining existing client relationships, and in partnership with Business Development Managers, further increasing business with the generation of new advisor relationships and clients. Manage and have broad and deep conversations with advisors, clients and prospects, developing a full understanding of their financial and personal goals and ambitions. Effectively present portfolio performance and timely market insights to clients and advisors while demonstrating comprehensive understanding of investments and exceptional presentation skills. Proactive focus on originating new business opportunities through advisors. Proactively network through seeking opportunities with current, new and potential advisors and clients. Able to support business development events. Clearly articulate the full breadth of the RBC adviser proposition and solutions to existing and prospective advisors and clients. Help to drive efficiency within the branch office/team to sustain business growth while ensuring good client outcomes. Operate with a growth mindset and embody operational excellence and contributing towards the achievement of the branch business plan. Fully understand the existing and new digital capabilities, driving client adoption as part of the overall advice‑led, wealth‑management proposition. Meeting FCA qualification and internal requirements for authorization to create and sign off investment proposals and manage clients assets in line with the investment mandate. Ensure adherence to group values, policies, procedures and working practices. Managing and operating within a risk management framework. Adhering to conduct risk standards.

What do you need to succeed? Must‑have: Level 6 CISI or CII. Level 4 can be considered if you have extensive experience to complement. Significant experience within a wealth management role. Proven relationship management skills, with ability to understand client needs, the knowledge and communication skills to identify and articulate solutions and the integrity to earn the client’s trust. An extremely detailed and diverse knowledge of business sectors, current business developments, market trends and financial products and services to effectively communicate with clients. Acts as a role model and demonstrates a high degree of capacity to drive positive behaviours in team members and colleagues.
