We’re now looking for an experienced Pre‑Sales Consultant (Insurance Software) to join our growing EMEA team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting sales professionals and helping drive growth in our Insurance Software and BPS portfolio. This is an opportunity to bring your industry expertise, creativity, and technical understanding to high‑impact sales engagements across EMEA.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Qualify opportunities and shape early‑stage deal discussions.
  • Lead and orchestrate compelling responses to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Drive solution planning and support governance processes.
  • Deliver high‑impact demonstrations, workshops, and customer presentations.
  • Anticipate and handle objections; solve client challenges collaboratively.
  • Support pilots, proof‑of‑concepts, and early discovery sessions.
  • Maintain strong awareness of the competitive landscape.
  • Partner closely with Product Owners to infuse industry insight into product enhancements and roadmap planning.
  • Build strong relationships with business and IT executives across new and existing customers, as well as market influencers (analysts, partners).
  • Review release functionality and produce customer‑facing documentation.
  • Support client feedback loops and refine materials for product adoption.
Marketing Alignment
  • Ensure sales and marketing messaging is aligned, compelling, and value‑driven.
  • Highlight clear USP messaging that resonates with market needs.
  • Contribute to use cases, case studies, and social media initiatives.
  • Attend key insurance market events across the UK and Europe.
Delivery Partnership
  • Embed DXC’s delivery approach seamlessly within the sales process.
  • Identify and articulate key delivery‑related sales messages.
  • Ensure delivery teams are set up for success by educating prospects early.
Technical Collaboration
  • Ensure demo environments remain stable, updated, and ready to showcase.
  • Maintain and enhance demo data to support relevant use cases.
  • Develop a strong understanding of system interactions and integration capabilities.
  • Demonstrate logical understanding of data flows between systems.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Bring a deep understanding of UK Commercial, Specialty, and Broking market drivers to customer conversations.
  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of DXC Insurance Software components and how we co‑design solutions with customers.
  • Understand core delivery processes including due diligence, design, migration, transition, and transformation.
  • Engage customers to uncover strategy, challenges, and opportunities, mapping DXC solutions accordingly.
  • Develop strong commercial awareness around software deal structures.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced colleagues in the Sales Solutions team.
Experience Required
  • Significant experience in pre‑sales, consulting, or senior business analysis roles.
  • Extensive background in the Insurance sector, ideally across EMEA.
  • Experience working with software solutions or product portfolios.
  • Proven communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions simply.
  • Strong internal stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building capability.
  • Creative, analytical, and solutions‑driven mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced software environment and rapidly absorb new information.
  • Demonstrated experience creating winning proposals and sales solutions.
