As part of the Index Review Team, we maintain the integrity and accuracy of indexes, and review data to ensure completeness, authenticity, accuracy and timeliness.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting eligibility checks on equities potentially entering FTSE Russell indices.
- Raising any issues/concerns to the line manager and reporting exceptions in a timely manner while highlighting and recommending process improvements to enhance quality and productivity.
- Striving to constantly improve your skills through training & development opportunities.
- Supporting the onboarding of new business and documenting methodology updates accurately.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate the effects and impact of index rebalancing/reviews on end clients through timely investigation and resolution of queries.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Committed to growing and developing a broad understanding across a range of indexes, staying abreast of market standards and common terminology.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of investment management and portfolio construction across asset classes.
- Knowledge of performance measurement and portfolio analysis concepts.
- Excel proficiency and experience with a structured programming language such as VBA or SQL.
- Relevant qualifications such as MBA in finance, financial engineering, economics or statistics.
