The Estate Manager (EM) is responsible for governing, maintaining and assuring the integrity of the organisation’s IT estate across its full lifecycle. This includes ownership of asset visibility, technology obsolescence, patching compliance, and control frameworks covering hybrid cloud infrastructure such as servers, storage and appliances. You will act as the central point of accountability for ensuring that estate‑related risks are actively managed, compliance is sustained, and that all assets – particularly those impacted by change initiatives – are appropriately tracked, governed and delivered against agreed outcomes. Critically, the EM function transitions the organisation from remediation into sustainable BAU operations, ensuring that improvements in compliance and control are maintained over time.
