WB Power Services are currently recruiting a Transport Driver to work out of our depot in Huntingdon. This is a superb opportunity for a driver to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for driven and motivated drivers to support the team through these exciting times.

Responsibilities

  • Working within company quality, health & safety and environmental procedures
  • Daily checks on the vehicles
  • Safe loading/unloading vehicles and coupling up trailers
  • Refuelling of generators which are on hire on customer sites
  • Delivering and collecting company equipment to and from all areas of the UK
  • Completing all necessary worksheets and hire documentation
  • General parts collections from suppliers when necessary
  • Keeping tachograph and other legal requirements involved with modern day driving on UK roads and highways
  • Providing 24/7 driver cover as required in line with driving hours legalities

Qualifications

  • Long distance van driving experience
  • Trailer experience is essential
  • Willing to work in a permanent role
  • Must have a valid in-date driver’s licence with minimal points
  • Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face
  • Capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries
