You should have experience as a vehicle technician or mechanical engineer, particularly in forklift or plant maintenance, and knowledge of plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventative maintenance on a full range of products, from small pallet trucks to Counterbalance, Very Narrow Aisle (VNA), and automated trucks.
- Service Linde forklifts and assist customers with operational support.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively within the field and resident engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Hydraulics.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to use IT equipment and maintain accurate records.
- Full UK driving licence (mandatory for Field and Resident Engineers).
