Main Purpose of the role
- Good team management to ensure:
- Successful and timely manufacture and output of customer food orders in-line with specification
- Safe use and operation of all facilities and equipment, compliant with HSE, Quality & Hygiene standards in line with Solina procedures and instructions
- Team adherence to Company policies and procedures
- Efficient and effective use of resources at all times
- Good collaboration with Senior Operatives to ensure:
- Effective cover during absence
- Management of training and development
- Strong communications skills to ensure:
- Effective decision making
- Collaborative problem solving
- Motivation and delegation / trust building
Required Qualifications
- Qualified to CMI Level 2 in Management or willing to attain
- Fork Lift and Powered Pallet Truck licence
- Experience of basic engineering skills to enable you to be responsible for the continual running of machinery.
- Experience of working to lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience of operating Wincos automated production system or similar
- Experience of working within a food production Supervisory role
- Ability to lift bags between 20 - 25 kg
- Awareness of continuous improvement and able to demonstrate experience of implementing this.
- Strong awareness and vigilant approach to Health & Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Safe Systems of Working
