Part‑time role, 20 hours a week Monday to Friday (4 hours a day). Working 20 hours a week, 4 hours per day on a 2‑week rota basis: Week 1 – 8am‑12pm, Week 2 – 2pm‑6pm. Eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level. Location: Faslane, Helensburgh. Contract type: Permanent. Time type: Part time.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all calls are answered in a professional and timely manner and redirected as appropriate.
- Welcoming visitors on site and signposting as necessary to the relevant department.
- Receiving, sorting and dispatching mail and acting on deliveries.
- Ensuring building security is maintained/adhered to at all times and recording and logging all visitors appropriately on entry and exit.
- Updating the digital welcoming screen daily with course arrival information and welcoming messages.
- Ensuring all relevant Ministry of Defence (MOD) databases are kept updated.
- Providing administrative support to the training course teams.
Qualifications (Essential)
- Previous front of house, receptionist or administrative experience.
- Team player with initiative to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Confident ability to engage with customers and other teams.
- Good administrative skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office and openness to learn different IT applications.
- Ability to work shift pattern and weekends.
