Position Purpose
The Marketing Executive will work closely with the Head of Hospitals and Specialty to support the development and implementation of marketing activities across Zentiva UK’s product portfolio. The role exists to strengthen the local marketing focus on the VAM and specialty portfolio, increase ownership of marketing activities within the UK affiliate, and support sustainable portfolio growth through compliant, omnichannel marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Work alongside the Head of Hospitals and Specialty to develop and implement an aligned omnichannel marketing and marcomms strategy for Zentiva’s UK portfolio, including VAM, branded generics, OTC and hospital products.
- Manage and implement digital marketing platforms (Zentrix and OCE), including website and intranet content to support both external and internal communications.
- Lead external communications and conference strategy, project‑managing the UK conference calendar to build corporate and portfolio brand awareness.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, ensuring delivery of agreed plans on time, within budget, and in line with agreed KPIs.
- Oversee and report on marketing activities, developing and reviewing multi‑channel KPIs to continuously improve performance.
- Support product launches and NPI handover, working closely with the Launch Manager to ensure a successful go‑to‑market approach.
- Act as the UK–EU interface for marketing material review and approvals, ensuring compliance with GxP, ABPI and internal regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Development and Business Excellence teams.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- 3+ years of marketing experience within the pharmaceutical environment, preferably within generics or specialty pharma.
- Good understanding of the NHS structure, formulary development, ICBs and the ABPI Code of Practice.
- Experience managing agencies, budgets and marketing KPIs.
- Exposure to digital marketing and high IT literacy; digital marketing qualification is desirable.
- Degree or equivalent preferred; strong relevant experience will also be considered.
- Adaptable, proactive and collaborative working style, with a pragmatic and hands‑on approach.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and project management skills.
